SUMMARY:LDA Minnesota Adult ADD Support Groups
DESCRIPTION:LDA Minnesota (Learning Disabilities Association of Minnesota) provides services for adults and children who have “learning differences” and ADHD along with providing support for the families and community education.  At this time the offices are open and their programs and services are available online and in-person\, however\, the offices are open only by appointment. You may call or email them for more information or to register for their programs. \n\nLDA Minnesota offers adults who have ADHD two support group options.  There is a group that meets every Thursday morning from 10:00 am to noon in person and online via Zoom.  The evening group meets on the first and third Thursday of each month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm online via Zoom.  Please note: The groups are free and are facilitated by trained volunteers.  If you are new and have questions or would like to join a support group meeting please call 952-582-6000 or email info@ldaminnesota.org to receive an invitation to the online meeting.  There is no registration required to attend the meetings. \nPlease Note: LDA Minnesota has moved to a new location. Their offices are open by appointment only at this time.

You can go to their website for a description of the workshop and details about the presenter. Registration is done online. Please note that the webinars are scheduled for Eastern Standard Time. If you can’t watch the webinar at its scheduled time you may still register and ADDitude will send you the link to the webinar after the 03/12/2026 presentation and you will be able to watch it at your convenience.\n\nThis webinar will be streamed at 1:00 pm EDT (that’s 12:00 pm our time) and lasts for one hour. The speaker for this webinar will be Tamar Kahane\, PsyD\, who is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder and the clinical director of The Kahane Center which is an integrated mental health center that provides extensive psychological and neuropsychological services for children\, teens\, adults\, and families. DESCRIPTION:Groves Learning Organization (GLO) is a nonprofit educational organization where students who have different learning difficulties and attention disorders can go to school to learn and thrive.  Groves Academy\, located in St. Louis Park\, Minnesota\, is the leading school in the Midwest where they teach students who have dyslexia\, ADHD\, executive function difficulties\, and other language-based learning disabilities in grades 1-12. They offer webinars and in-person events for the community and families through their GLO Education Series. Registration is done online and the events are free. \nThis in-person event is designed for high school students and their families. The speaker will be Clare Roney who is a Career and Postsecondary Coach who helps teens and their parents learn skills to help them determine their interests and strengths to future careers and postsecondary learning and opportunities.
