NAMI|St. Cloud Area Presents Our 33rd Annual Fall Mental Health Conference
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is a well known national organization that advocates for those with mental illnesses, provides support for families, and makes available educational resources for all. They also maintain state and local chapters. This fall the NAMI St. Cloud Area is hosting the 33rd annual fall conference here in St. Cloud. The speakers will be:
Keynote “Best Practices in Children’s Mental Health – What Works and Why” – Glenace Edwall, PsyD, PhD, LPMPP
“The Importance of Resilience: Skills to Endure the Hard Stuff” – Kristen Wheeler-Highland, BA
“A Vision for Children’s Mental Health” – George Realmuto, MD & Anne Gearity, PhD
“A Community Response to Adverse Childhood Experiences” – Pam Beckering, MS, LPCC
“Restorative Practices in Schools and Community” – Paul Mickelson, BS & Laraine Mickelson, BS
“How Are the Children?” – Sue Abderholden, NAMI Minnesota Executive Director
