This webinar will be streamed at 1:00 PM ET (that’s 12:00 pm our time).  Here is background information on the two presenters:

Karen Huberty, M.Ed. is known for her energy and love for teaching students with ADHD along with educating students and staff on executive function skills.  Her accomplishments include presentations in her school district, the Minnesota Education Academy, a 2018 ADHD conference presenter on executive functions and ADHD, and she was awarded the Rotary Teacher of the Year Award for her important work with students, parents, and staff.  Karen has been awarded many grants from the Education Minnesota Foundation for Excellence in Teaching and Learning which has made it possible for her to develop programs that she has applied to students with ADHD in the classroom.

Maureen Bechard, M.S. is a licensed professional school counselor who has enjoyed working with middle school students for 30+ years.  Her emphasis has been to educate students, parents, teachers, and administrators on how ADHD impacts the lives of adolescents in middle school.  She lectures on executive function deficits and her discovery that the strategies that work well for ADHD students also work well for all students.
