DESCRIPTION:ADDitudeMag.com is a national ADHD organization that offers free webinars on ADHD and the many related issues. You can go to their website for a description of the workshop and details about the presenter. Registration is done online. Please note that the webinars are scheduled for Eastern Standard Time. If you can’t watch the webinar at its scheduled time you may still register and ADDitude will send you the link to the webinar after the 02/26/2026 presentation and you will be able to watch it at your convenience.\n\nThis webinar will be streamed at 1:00 pm EDT (that’s 12:00 pm our time) and lasts for one hour. The speaker for this webinar will be Kristin Szuhany\, PhD\, who is an Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health. Dr Szuhany is the Assistant Director at the anxiety\, stress\, and Prolonged Grief Program and she also has a clinical practice at NYU. DESCRIPTION:PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents.  It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington\, MN\, and for 49 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff.  They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents\, siblings\, grandparents\, and other family members.  PACER also has educational information in Hmong\, Spanish\, and Somali.  Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free.  You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event. \nTheir Toll-Free number is 800-537-2237. \nParticipants in this workshop will learn about the transition steps from elementary to middle school and middle school to high school for students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). Parents will learn why a transition meeting is important\, the resources and supports you can take advantage of\, and how to prepare you child for the change and maintain support for them.

Navigating Medical Assistance (MA)\, TEFRA waivers\, and county services can be confusing and time consuming. In this workshop parents will learn about each program\, what the programs cover\, and how they can help. You will get tips and learn how the different services can help support your child at home\, at school\, and in your community.
