CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) was established in 1987 as a way for parents and their children to not feel so isolated in dealing with their ADHD.  Today it is a respected national and international ADHD organization that provides many forms of ADHD education and support which is available to all who live with ADHD, their families and friends, employers, and professionals in health care, mental health care, and education.

The speaker for this presentation will be speech-language pathologist Letizia Hendrickson who will explain the importance of speech therapy in supporting those who have ADHD who often have communication, executive function, and social interaction challenges that impact their daily lives. Participants will learn about the different speech therapy techniques and activities along with the need for family-centered care and collaboration. This event is designed for psychologists, psychiatrists, ADHD coaches, and parents.
