DESCRIPTION:Anxiety and Depression of America (ADAA) began with a phobia meeting in 1978 in White Plains\, New York. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorder and is one of the most treatable. ADDA has been working to improve research\, education\, and treatment to find the cure for anxiety disorders and depression for the past 40 years. Registration is done online. \nThe speaker for this event will be Jennifer Caspari\, PhD\, who is an Associate Psychologist and works at Cognitive Behavior Therapy Associates of Denver. Dr. Caspari’s specialty area is providing evidenced-based psychotherapies to those who have acute and chronic health challenges. She will discuss her book You Are More Than Your Body and speaks from professional and lived experiences. Participants will learn how to respond to difficult challenges with self-compassion\, how to build emotional resilience\, and reconnect with better awareness. \nPlease note this event is not eligible for CEHs.

It is a series of workshops that allows parents and professionals to come together and learn from one another. SUMMARY:PACER Center Online Streaming Workshop: Wellness apps for calm and healthy habits
DESCRIPTION:PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents.  It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington\, MN\, and for 49 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff.  They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents\, siblings\, grandparents\, and other family members.  PACER also has educational information in Hmong\, Spanish\, and Somali.  Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free.  You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event. \nTheir Toll-Free number is 800-537-2237. \nFamilies in this workshop will be introduced to apps that can help support mental and emotional well-being and help in handling stress for kids\, adolescents\, and adults. \nPlease Note: PACER maintains an archive of past Live Stream Events that you can review at this link: https://www.pacer.org/livestream/archive.asp
