PACER Center Online Streaming Workshop: Assistive Technology to Support Elementary Academics

PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents.  It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington, MN, and for 43 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff.  They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members.  PACER also has educational information in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali.  Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free.  You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event.

This is a workshop for parents and educators to learn about the different low-tech and high-tech assistive technology tools that are available to support elementary-aged students with reading, writing, and math.
