PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents. It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington, MN, and for 43 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and the dedicated staff. They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members. PACER also has educational information in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali. Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free. You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event.

This workshop will teach you about the executive function skills your students in grades 7 to 12 need to develop to help them keep track of homework, manage their time, and remain on task. You will also learn about the technologies that are available today to help with these tasks. The presenters will be MN Statewide Family Engagement Center and PACER’s Simon Technology Center.
