Understood.org is a unique national organization that consists of 15 different groups who have come together in a partnership to provide learning opportunities on learning and attention issues. Their webinars are free and are available on different social media platforms. A few are available in Spanish. The easiest way to check out the upcoming events is to go to their monthly calendar. The webinars usually run for 30 minutes, however, when we list them on our Event Calendar we will always block out an hour. They also maintain an archive of past presentations.

The presenter will be Roberto Olivardia, Ph.D. who is a clinical psychologist and a lecturer in psychology at Harvard Medical School. He also has a private practice located in Lexington, Massachusettes. Dr. Olivardia’s interests are in the treatment of ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) along with the many issues students have with learning disabilities. He is a member of the professional advisory boards of CHADD, Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), and the National Association for Males with Eating Disorders. Dr. Olivardia serves on the scientific advisory board of ADDitude Magazine along with being a member of Decoding Dyslexia – Massachusetts. He is a favorite speaker with parents and professionals.
