Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health, also known as MACMH, was founded in 1989. The organization is a nonprofit that works “to promote positive mental health for all infants, children, adolescents, and their families”. They provide a wide variety of services and you can read more about their goals and services on their website.
The speaker for this virtual workshop will be Alyssa Mason who is an Occupational Therapist at M Health Fairview. She will speak on how to increase regulation for students in the classroom who are experiencing stress, trauma, or uncertainty. Participants will learn strategies that can be applied in group settings and the strategies may also help families and other service providers and caregivers. Participants of the Pop-up Training will receive a certificate of attendance. For an official CE approval the participant will need to submit to their respective board directly.
