PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents. It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington, MN, and for 49 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff. They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members. PACER also has educational information in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali. Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free. You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event.

Thriving Together is a family guide to getting through disability services. It is a series of workshops that allows parents and professionals to come together and learn from one another. Navigating the health care system can be a confusing, frustrating, and overwhelming task when you have a child with disabilities. In this workshop you will hear parents and professionals discuss the challenges of getting through the system, solutions to these challenges, and how you can work together.
