April 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

- Free

PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents.  It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington, MN, and for 49 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff.  They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members.  PACER also has educational information in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali.  Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free.  You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event.

Their Toll-Free number is 800-537-2237.

PACER advocates will answer the questions many parents have about how their child’s inclusion will be handled in the different school settings.  Participants can ask their questions and learn from those who have been there and come away with helpful tips and strategies. Please go to the website listing for the full details about this event.

If an ASL interpreter is required please let PACER know at least 48 hours in advance of the event. They will do their best to accommodate your request.
