Anxiety and Depression of America (ADAA) began with a phobia meeting in 1978 in White Plains, New York. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorder and is one of the most treatable. ADDA has been working to improve research, education, and treatment to find the cure for anxiety disorders and depression for the past 40 years. Registration is done online.
The speaker for this event will be Jennifer Caspari, PhD, who is an Associate Psychologist and works at Cognitive Behavior Therapy Associates of Denver. Dr. Caspari’s specialty area is providing evidenced-based psychotherapies to those who have acute and chronic health challenges. She will discuss her book You Are More Than Your Body and speaks from professional and lived experiences. Participants will learn how to respond to difficult challenges with self-compassion, how to build emotional resilience, and reconnect with better awareness.
