PACER Center Online Streaming Workshop: Exploring Chromebook accessibility

PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents.  It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington, MN, and for 49 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff.  They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members.  PACER also has educational information in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali.  Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are freeYou must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event.

PACER will explain the many accessibility features that can be found on on Chromebook such as text-to-speech, dictation, vision supports, and other features that may be useful to your child. For full details on what this event please go to the website listing.
