Meet Shelly Ziemer Gehrls
Shelly is an experienced referral and prior authorization assistant at a local clinic in the St. Cloud area. Her combined experience with medical insurance billing means she is no stranger to the term ADHD. She understands the disorder from numerous viewpoints. In addition to work she relates to
ADHD as a spouse, a sister and an aunt. Her advice is to have lots of patience and ongoing education using various resources such as books, DVDs and workshops. Shelly says the most important advice is to work at developing good communication with the person who has ADHD. She contributes to A-D-A-MSM by volunteering with administrative tasks, project planning, proofing, and social media review.
To give herself a break from the world of ADHD she plays clarinet in the St. Cloud Municipal Band. Shelly is an avid reader, loves Facebooking, long walks, enjoying nature, and genealogy research.
