PACER Center Online Streaming Workshop – Housing: Starting the Journey: Step 3 – What Are The Options?

April 29 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

- Free

PACER Center began in 1977 with one program called Parents Helping Parents. It is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington, MN, and for 46 years its mission has been to educate and support parents and families who have children with disabilities. Today PACER is nationally recognized for its ongoing work and dedicated staff.  They provide a wide variety of services not only to children but to their parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members. PACER also has educational information in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali.  Their current workshops are all Online Web Streaming and are free.  You must register in advance online and then you will receive directions on how to join the workshop on the day of the event.

Their Toll-Free number is 800-537-2237.

In this presentation participants will get an in-depth explanation of individualized housing and service options from those who have used these services. There will be a panel of parents, young adults, and housing providers who will share their stories of going through this process.
